Following the Vélodyssée which corresponds to the French part of the EuroVelo 1 route (8186 km from Norway to Portugal), you are launched onto a network of over 1,400 km of cycle routes with the ocean as a backdrop. In the Loire-Altantique, you will take the the Nantes-Brest canal towpath where locks marshes, and authentic villages lead you to Nantes and the banks of the river Loire.

The GRP of the Three Rivers (Long Distance Footpath)
130 km long, the Three Rivers long distance footpath is notable due to the diversity of its landscape.
From Saint Nicolas de Redon, the route follows the Nantes-Brest canal, then passes through the Gâvre forest, the valley of the river Don , follows an old railway line overlooking the confluence of the Vilaine and the River Don, ending up alongside the marshes.
